Hello Miss Betty. I really enjoyed your micro lesson. It was simple, easy to follow, and is something you can use with any book or topic to help students understand beginning, middle, and end. My favorite piece was the exit ticket. I have never seen that website before, but it was super cute. Do you know if you can see their results from it to help with the assessment? I think if you can see the results, it would be a great tool to add to your toolbox. Great job!
Hi Betty! I thought it was a really great idea to have students repeat the expectations during the anticipatory set. This is a great way to ensure that they are paying attention to the directions and then you can further clarify. During the you do, having the students retell the story is a valuable way to assess the student. This was a great lesson plan!
